Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Liferay-based applications with a focus on Liferay 7.x DXP.
- Implement and optimize Liferay Portlet Framework solutions to enhance user experience and functionality.
- Work with OSGi architecture to create modular, scalable, and maintainable applications.
- Develop and customize Liferay Client extentions to meet business requirements.
- Design and implement Liferay Themes and Layout templates to align with branding and UI/UX requirements.
- Integrate Liferay solutions with third-party applications, REST APIs, and external systems.
- Optimize Liferay performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, business analysts, and backend developers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay updated with Liferay best practices, new features, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Liferay 7.x DXP.
- Expertise in Liferay Portlet Framework, OSGi architecture, and modular development.
- Hands-on experience Theme development,Client extensions.
- Proficiency in Java and JSP for backend development.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
- Strong understanding of Liferay permissions, workflows, and content management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
Good To Have Skills
- Experience with cloud-based Liferay deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of Liferay Headless APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like React and Angular.
- Liferay certifications (e.g., Liferay DXP Practitioner).
