Job Description

Provide strategic legal advisory support to business teams across transportation, logistics, and allied operational functions.
Advise on and support commercial transactions, business arrangements, and strategic partnerships.
Lead and manage compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable Indian laws and regulatory requirements relevant to the logistics and transportation sector.
Designing and implementing scalable compliance frameworks.
Support drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements and transaction documents.
Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks arising from business operations and expansion initiatives.
Oversee dispute management and litigation strategy in coordination with external counsel.
Manage relationships with external legal advisors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Compliance, and senior leadership.
Contribute to strengthening legal processes, governance frameworks, and scalable best practices aligned with business growth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Manager should have:

A Law degree from a recognized university.
7 - 12 years of postqualification experience in a corporate or lawfirm environment.
Strong advisory skillset, with the ability to provide practical, businessoriented legal solutions.
Experience with building and managing charter compliances.
Experience across compliance, transactions, and commercial advisory work.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, evolving business environment with multiple stakeholders.
