Job Description

A team member who is self-motivated and dynamic, willing to take on multiple secretarial challenges in a fast paced environment, a team player with a strong legal acumen and a sense of professional integrity, great with interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and capable of bringing innovative ideas while approaching legal challenges, Roles and Responsibilities
Drafting, negotiating, preparing, vetting, and reviewing terms of various complex business, non-commercial and commercial contracts, including but not limited to software licenses agreements, NDAs, distributor agreements, research collaboration agreements, specific study agreements, service agreements, letters of intent, vendor agreements, employment agreements erc, across multiple jurisdictions, Providing legal advice and support to the company on general corporate law issues, advising company management on day-to-day affairs, policy matters, and managing legal issues arising in different areas of the company, including but not limited to corporate matters, international commercial law, disputes, , IP laws, erc
Ensure ESG compliance and assist the ESG manager in setting up and implementing the ESG framework including laying down the ESG road map and implementation of the same
Liaising and coordinating with external counsel and authorities, in relation to legal and compliance matters of Company and communicating the opinions and advice received from external counsel and authorities to internal stakeholders, Managing the Intellectual Property portfolio of the organisation, Liaising with the Data Protection Officer with various data protection related matters, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and responding to queries received from internal and external stakeholders, Being familiar with applicable laws and regulations related to IP, open-source, erc
Advising Companys HR on employment matters, review and revise Company policies and processes to support the Company's operation and growth, ensuring that the Company fulfils its legal and statutory and requirements, Research and drafting for legal and other matters, creating workflows, playbooks and trackers to improve team processes, Managing overall legal, secretarial compliance of the organisation and its subsidiaries, Assisting with such other tasks including administrative tasks, conducting extensive legal research, and presenting summaries and legal implications with the view of resolving legal issues in an effective manner, Skills and Expertise
Bachelors degree in law from a reputed law school, Experience of US/UK laws preferred, Excellent legal and business judgment, Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, Other Considerations
Ability to balance legal and business needs, to assess appropriate risks and make decisions, Meticulous and organised, with excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working, Driven, focused, and passionate to support the growth of a healthcare provider with an acute understanding of the fast-paced environment and highly demanding legal work in a healthcare sector, Demonstrable ability to grasp technical legal issues/concepts, be it Indian laws or international laws, guidelines and regulations, Demonstrable ability to display sound and independent judgement and act with prudence and maturity, Ability to define and address issues despite ambiguity, Previous experience in managerial, supervisory, or leadership capacity, Excellent research and drafting skills, Eye for detail, Problem solving and analytical skills, Ability to prioritise and work simultaneously on multiple projects with efficient time management, Team player with ability to effortlessly manage a team and effortlessly coordinate across other teams, Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all stakeholders including leadership, Good exposure to general corporate law as well as a strong familiarity with commercial and business contracts, Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint),
