Role Description The Senior Legal Advocate (Real Estate) is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, responsible for overseeing legal affairs across the group's residential projects. This role includes drafting, reviewing, and finalizing real estate contracts and agreements, including sale deeds, lease agreements, development agreements, and related documentation. The Senior Legal Advocate will provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on property acquisition, project structuring, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation, and will coordinate with external counsel and authorities as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities also include managing negotiations with buyers, partners, and vendors, handling legal queries and disputes, ensuring timely registrations and documentation, and maintaining accurate legal records. The role involves close collaboration with the planning, finance, sales, and compliance teams to support smooth project execution and protect the organization's legal interests.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in property and real estate law, including experience handling Legal Affairs related to land acquisition, project approvals, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing Contractual Agreements such as sale deeds, MOUs, development agreements, and lease contracts.
• Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to internal teams and leadership, translating complex legal issues into actionable guidance.
• Demonstrated Negotiation skills in buyer, vendor, and partner discussions, with a focus on safeguarding organizational interests while maintaining professional relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; LL.M or specialization in real estate or property law is an advantage.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in real estate legal practice, either in-house with a developer or at a law firm handling real estate matters.
• Familiarity with local and state real estate regulations, registration processes, RERA-related compliance, and documentation standards in Pune and Maharashtra.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Real Estate experience is required.
