Role Summary

We are looking for aSenior /Lead SharePoint Administratorto own and enhance our SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms. You will lead administration, governance, migrations, and automation to enable secure, scalable, and userfriendly collaboration across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • SharePoint & M365 Ownership

  • Administer and govern SharePoint Online (and support SharePoint 2016/2019 as needed) - sites, permissions, security, taxonomy, storage, and standards/SOPs.

  • Enable and support Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Stream, Viva, Microsoft Search) and integrations with Power Apps / Power Automate.

  • Migrations, Automation & Operations

  • Lead migrations from SharePointOnPrem and shared drives/file shares to SharePoint Online / OneDrive usingSharegate, including assessment, execution, monitoring, and postmigration validation.

  • ProvideL2/L3 supportvia ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) troubleshoot incidents, perform rootcause analysis, and close tickets within SLAs.

  • UsePowerShellto automate administration, standardize configurations, and improve performance and reliability across environments.

MustHave Skills (Top 5)

SharePoint Administration & Governance

  • 6-9 years administering SharePoint environments with strong handson experience in SharePoint Online andgoodunderstanding of SharePoint 2016/2019.

  • Deep knowledge of security, permissions, governance, taxonomy/metadata, and storage management.

PowerShell Automation

  • Proven experience using PowerShell for SharePoint Online and OneDrive administration and bulk operations.

Migrations with Sharegate

  • Handson experience planning and executing SharePoint, OneDrive, and shared drive/file share migrations using Sharegate (assessment, execution, error handling, validation).

Microsoft 365 & Entra ID

  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Stream, Viva, Microsoft Search).

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management (groups, roles, app access).

ITSM & L2/L3 Operations

  • Experience with IT ticketing and agile toolsets (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence or similar).

  • Strong troubleshooting and rootcause skills comfortable working with global, crossfunctional teams and driving issues to closure.

Qualifications

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience with 6-9years of work experience

  • Certifications:Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint or Microsoft 365 administration are preferred.

  • Soft Skills:Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders in a global environment.
