Senior Lead Robotics & Edge Integration Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lead Robotics & Edge Integration Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in ROS 2, DDS, Embedded Linux, NVIDIA Jetson, and robotics communication protocols.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and integrating robotics and edge-computing solutions, communication interfaces, industrial gateways, and embedded applications. The role requires strong knowledge of robotics architecture, distributed systems, networking, and real-time communication, along with the ability to work on complex robotics integration projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate communication interfaces for robotics and industrial automation systems.
Develop and integrate communication protocols such as MAVLink, OPC UA, and VDA 5050.
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot applications running on Embedded Linux platforms.
Design and develop edge applications for robotics and AI use cases using NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
Design, integrate, and validate industrial gateways and edge communication solutions.
Develop and validate robotics solutions using NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab.
Work extensively with ROS 2 and DDS for robotics application development and system integration.
Integrate robotics components and distributed systems across different hardware and software platforms.
Develop and implement robotics behaviors using Behavior Trees / Groot.
Analyze and troubleshoot communication, networking, integration, and system-level issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture, interfaces, and integration strategies.
Support system validation, debugging, performance optimization, and deployment of robotics solutions.
Contribute to the development of scalable and reliable edge-computing architectures for robotics applications.

Mandatory Technical Skills

8 10 years of relevant experience in robotics, embedded systems, edge computing, or robotics software development.
Strong hands-on experience with ROS 2.
Strong understanding and practical experience with DDS and distributed communication frameworks.
Strong experience with Embedded Linux development.
Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
Experience developing and integrating robotics communication interfaces.
Good knowledge of MAVLink, OPC UA, and VDA 5050.
Understanding of robotics architecture, networking, and distributed systems.
Experience with industrial gateways and edge communication technologies.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim / Isaac Lab.
Knowledge of Groot / Groot2 and Behavior Trees.
Experience with AMR, AGV, autonomous robotics, or mobile robotics.
Experience with industrial automation and robotics integration.
Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet, MQTT, or similar.
Experience with edge AI and robotics applications.
Experience with system-level debugging and performance optimization.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Embedded Systems, or a related technical discipline.
