About the Role
This role involves ensuring quality assurance and validation testing for mobile apps and software solutions for electronic products.
Work mode: Work from Office(4 days in Office and 1 day in home)
Experience: 5-12 years
Location: Thane, Mumbai
Responsibilities
- Design and document the test procedures of application- and system-software
- Design and implement automated test suites
- Lead and execute the System Test of software releases
- Refine User Stories and documentation
- Design and implement application- and system-software in a Linux environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering or related degree
- At least 5 years of experience with test environments
Required Skills
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies for IoT and embedded systems
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing
- Validate IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, HTTP/HTTPS, AMQP, Modbus, etc.
- Test and validate applications developed using: .NET / C# OR Python+JavaScript
- Perform device-level testing and integration testing with embedded firmware
- Collaborate closely with development, firmware, and hardware teams to identify defects early
- Troubleshoot issues across embedded devices, network layers, backend services, and APIs
- Maintain defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test documentation
- Support UAT, production releases, and post-deployment validation

- Strong planning and execution skills
- Ability to visualize both micro and macro picture
- Experience in developing and handling the team
- Good communication and multicultural approach, good at interacting with international team
