WE'RE HIRING FOR 2 SENIOR/ LEAD PRODUCT MANAGER ROLES

A. SPM / LEADER - Equity Products & KYC

You will own the end-to-end journey from a user signing up to completing KYC to making their first equity investment on Univest. This is the funnel that feeds both the advisory business and the broking business.

A1: What You Own

  • User Onboarding & KYC: Own the end-to-end onboarding experience across all products - from first sign-up step to trading-ready. Minimum friction, maximum first-time-right rate.
  • Equity investing experience: Own the full equity product surface - from stock discovery and portfolio tracking to SIPs, ETFs, pledging, MTF, and every widget and feature that touches the investor journey. If an investor interacts with it, it's yours.
  • User activation: Getting a KYC-complete user to make their first trade. The gap between account ready and first investment placed is yours to close.
  • Compliance integration: Working with the compliance team to ensure all onboarding and investing flows are SEBI/CDSL compliant.
  • Operational Efficiency: Own internal ops workflows from approvals to rejections to automations. If the ops team is firefighting KYC issues daily, you haven't done your job.
  • KYC Vendor and Cost Management: Own all vendor relationships across the KYC stack - performance monitoring, SLA enforcement, fallback routing, and cost optimisation. You negotiate, you track, you switch when needed.

A2: What We Need

  • 4-7 years in product management at a stock broking platform
  • Deep ownership in at least one: the equity product suite (stock investing, SIPs, IPOs, pledging, MTF, etc.) OR KYC/onboarding funnels. You must have owned one end-to-end 
  • Regulated environment experience: You've worked under SEBI / RBI constraints.
  • Analytical depth: You pull data yourself (SQL), build your own funnels, and don't wait for an analyst to tell you where users are dropping.
  • Gurgaon-based or willing to relocate. This is a work-from-office role.

B. Senior Product Manager / Product Lead - Growth, AI & New Business Initiatives

You own organic acquisition, AI product experiences, the new business initiatives and free user engagement across the Univest platforms.

B1. What You Owns

  • Growth & Acquisition Surfaces: Own organic funnels - SEO, ASO, GEO, web conversion optimisation. You build the product surfaces that make acquisition work. User Retention: Own the platform engagement and retention for non-paying users. Build the product experience that brings users back, builds habit, and develops intent to convert.
  • AI-Powered Product Experiences: Own and ship core AI-powered product features - conversational interfaces, intelligent search, AI-assisted recommendations. You define what AI can do in the product, not just where it saves ops costs.
  • New Business Initiatives & Integrations: Lead new business initiatives and experiments across existing and new potential lines of business 
  • Growth-Product Loop: Work with the marketing team to close the loop between product insights and channel performance
  • Referral & Viral Loops: Own the referral product end-to-end. Build loops where existing users become an acquisition channel.

B2. What We Need

  • 5-8 years in product management with 2-3 years independently owning growth or acquisition funnels at a consumer internet company.
  • Shipped AI-powered features in the product, ion not just used AI tools, but defined, built, and measured AI features that users interacted with.
  • SEO/GEO/ ASO/web CRO experience with demonstrated impact on organic traffic or conversion. You've moved numbers, not just run experiments.
  • Strong analytical instinct: you decompose problems before solving them. You segment before hypothesising. You quantify before you prioritise.
  • Gurgaon-based or willing to relocate. This is a work-from-office role.

Strong-to-Haves

  • Built or contributed to conversational AI / search-intelligence products
  • Fintech or subscription business experience 
  • Experience in the advisory, wealth, and broking industry
  • Being an active trader/ investor yourself
  • Experience of working in an SEBI/RBI-regulated environment
