We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Lead/Principal Engineer specializing in Urban Drainage Modelling to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing urban drainage projects and will play a crucial role in ensuring effective water management solutions in urban environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage urban drainage modelling projects from conception to completion.
- Develop, implement, and optimize hydraulic and hydrological models for urban drainage systems.
- Analyze and interpret data related to urban drainage, rainfall-runoff processes, and flood risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including civil engineers, planners, and environmental scientists.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders and clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in urban drainage and water management.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-16 years of experience in urban drainage modelling or related field.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modelling software such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, or InfoWorks.
- Strong knowledge of water resource management and flood risk assessment.
- Experience with GIS tools and data analysis software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
