Senior / Lead PLC Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop programs for control systems using automation software and custom coding languages.
• Complete Project task based on work assignment.
• Commission, supervise and maintain the control & visualization systems.
• Travel to customer sites and service partners for successful installation & commissioning of such systems.
• Deliver & execute the assigned projects on time with good quality/ cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Handle all automation and control system activities as well as process and electrical systems at the organization.
• Work with metal processing equipment.
• Keep improving self-engineering capabilities and exchange best practice with other team members to improve team's capabilities.
• Maximize reusable standard product and engineering in project delivery.
• Should be willing to travel to project sites in India and globally as and when required.
• Develop strong working relationship with the team in India and Germany.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics/Control Engineering or equivalent degree.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Industrial Automation.
• Good command of English language (knowledge of German language considered an advantage).
• Experience in the metal processing industry a plus.
• Should have gone through complete project life cycle from design phase to commissioning for at least one or two Projects.
