As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms, youapply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Job responsibilities

• Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
• Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
• Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
• Executes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity

• Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Very good understanding in multiple network infrastructure technologies and protocols including Global and Local load balancing, DNS, network routing, switching, WAN, firewalls and proxies.
• Experienced and knowledge in the following key areas - Network Architecture &Engineering (planning, provision), Design (compliance, security), Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (program management, network management) and Infrastructure life-cycle management and refresh.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Zero-Trust, Micro-segmentation, SASE architectures & Content Delivery Network (CDN)
• Experience in handling audit preparation (internal & external regulatory)
• Thorough understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch, and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to collaborate with different teams and roles to achieve common goals.
• Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS) and cloud technologies
• Understanding of DevOps principles and network automation solutions
