Utilize analytical tools (process simulation, data analytics etc.) to uncover technical insights, troubleshooting issues, recommend improvements, and drive optimization opportunities
Support initiatives focused on energy efficiency, yield improvement, cost reduction, and sustainability
Maintain detailed process simulation models to evaluate operating scenarios effectively
Perform energy utilization analysis, material balance assessments, benchmarking and identification of unit improvement opportunities
Understand technical summaries, data sheets, and engineering documentation as per workflow requirements.
Participate in review meetings and provide support to clients
Work Experience
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of refinery and petro-chemical units
Experience in working with process monitoring tools, acquisition from data historians, and process modeling software such as SeeQ, PI, Hysys etc.
Experience in performing analytical calculations
Ability to interpret process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, HMB, process datasheets and equipment design documents.
Awareness of process safety management concepts and principles such as Process Hazard Analysis, Integrity Operating Windows etc.
Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and strong data discipline.
Team-oriented with good coordination skills.
Ability to work under minimal supervision while delivering high-quality output.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Chemical Engineering
Minimum 12 years of total work experience
Minimum 6 years experience in technical services
Experience in one (or more) of the units is mandatory - FCCU, Delayed Coker, Alkylation, Hydrocracker, CDU/VDU, NHT - Isomerization, Hydroprocessing, Aromatics, Polymers, Olefins.
