Job Summary:

The IBP Lead role is pivotal in designing and successfully implementing SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions focused on Demand, Supply, Response, and S&OP within customer organizations. This position involves close collaboration with Sales and Delivery teams to expand IBP service offerings aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate possesses core expertise in Time Series Planning and Order-Based Planning (OBP), with experience in at least two end-to-end IBP implementations.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP PPDS Consultant with 9 to 12 years of hands-on expertise in SAP APO PPDS / SAP IBP Response & Supply and S/4HANA PPDS implementations. The candidate should possess strong knowledge in Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling, Supply Planning, and integration with manufacturing and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end SAP PPDS implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.

• Gather business requirements and design PPDS solutions aligned with client manufacturing and supply chain processes.

• Configure and customize SAP PPDS functionalities including:

o Product Heuristics

o Detailed Scheduling Planning Board

o PP/DS Optimizer

o Capacity Planning

o Setup Matrix

o Production Planning Run

o Alerts & Exception Handling

• Work on CIF integration between ECC/S/4HANA and APO/PPDS.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including SAP MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, and PP.

• Perform system testing, SIT, UAT support, and defect resolution.

• Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.

• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments.

• Conduct client workshops, user training, and documentation preparation.

• Mentor junior consultants and support presales or solution discussions when required.

Required Skills

• 9–12 years of SAP Supply Chain Planning experience with strong expertise in SAP PPDS.

• Minimum 2–3 end-to-end implementations in SAP APO PPDS or S/4HANA PPDS.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and supply planning.

• Experience in:

o S/4HANA Embedded PPDS

o CIF Master and Transaction Data Integration

o Planning Strategies and Heuristics

o Resource Planning and Optimization

• Knowledge of integration with SAP PP, MM, SD, QM, and EWM.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in AMS/support projects is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

• SAP certification in PPDS/APO/IBP is preferred.

• Exposure to SAP IBP Supply & Response is an added advantage.

Good to Have

• Experience with S/4HANA transformation projects.

• Knowledge of Fiori applications related to PPDS.

• Exposure to global delivery models and client-facing roles.
