Job Description

The role in one line :

Own revenue expansion across Hevo's existing customer base. It is the highest-leverage seat in SaaS, and we are hiring for it.

Why this role is worth your time :

In SaaS, net revenue retention is the single number that decides whether a company compounds, and the people who can move that number are some of the most valuable operators in the industry. You will become one of them.

Hevo has 2,000+ customers across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas, including Deliverr, Neo4J, and Groww. The accounts are real, the usage runs deep, and the expansion surface area is large. You are walking into a book where the growth is already there to be unlocked. Your job is to go unlock it.

What you will actually do, and what you will get from doing it :

- Drive upsell and cross-sell across your book. You will become the person on the team who knows where the expansion lives, often before the customer does. Done well, this is the skill that takes AMs into Director and VP roles.

- Build account expansion strategies tied to customer business goals. Not feature pitches. Real plans grounded in what the customer is trying to achieve.

- You will learn to lead with insight, which is what separates AMs who close expansion from AMs who chase it.

- Own renewals, retention, and account health. You will get sharp at reading the signals that matter, the kind that show up in usage and stakeholder conversations long before they hit a dashboard. That instinct is what separates good AMs from great ones, and once you have it, it is yours for life.

- Build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers. Data and engineering leaders at companies that are scaling fast. The network you build here travels with you for the rest of your career.

- Run QBRs that customers actually look forward to. Show ROI clearly, surface growth opportunities, and become the AM the customer calls first when they need a real conversation, not a ticket. That reputation compounds across every job you take after this one.

- Use customer data and usage insights to recommend the right next thing. You will get fluent at reading product usage like a sales signal, which is how the best expansion teams in SaaS actually work.

- Partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing. You sit at the intersection where most of the real go-to-market learning happens. Two years here, done well, will teach you more about go-to-market than most operators learn in five.

- Run a clean book. Accurate pipeline, honest forecasts, real account plans. The AMs who do this well get trusted with bigger books, faster, and that trust is what unlocks the next role.

What we are looking for :

- 5+ years in Account Management, Sales, or Customer Expansion.

- A real track record of upselling, cross-selling, and growing accounts. This is the must-have.

- B2B SaaS or technology-driven sales experience.

- Value-based selling and negotiation skills. You can hold a price conversation with confidence and a renewal conversation with conviction.

- A data-driven mindset. You forecast accurately, you read usage, you know your numbers cold.

- Hands-on with Salesforce or HubSpot. You treat the CRM as a tool that works for you, not a chore.

- Communication that works at every level, from a champion in Engineering to a CFO who wants to understand the value.
