Position Title: Senior Key Account Manager (Sr. KAM) – Ecommerce (Apparel & Fashion)
Location: Bangalore
Role:
1. Sales & Business Growth
- Deliver top-line and bottom-line targets for assigned fashion brands across all key marketplaces.
- Drive strategic growth through:
- Pricing & Promotions – Optimize pricing, markdowns, and sale planning based on performance data, stock health, and platform benchmarks.
- Inventory Management – Monitor fill rates, coverage, and age of stock. Ensure availability of core styles and new launches.
- Event Planning – Lead end-to-end execution of sale events, brand days, and exclusive launches.
- Performance Tracking – Analyse sales data, conversion metrics, product health, and inventory turns. Drive course correction swiftly.
2. Merchandising & Catalog Excellence
- Finalize product selections by season and ensure catalog freshness with the right assortment, MRP ranges, and discount strategies.
- Work closely with studio, catalog, and content teams to drive quality listings, SEO-friendly PDPs, and faster go-live cycles.
- Manage RTVs, QC-rejections, and product hygiene across platforms.
- Work with stakeholders to reduce customer returns and eliminate root causes.
3. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Managers / Executives.
- Set clear goals, drive accountability, and coach the team for performance improvement and growth.
- Create a high-ownership, data-driven culture within the team.
4. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management
Marketplace Stakeholders:
- Build strong relationships with category managers across all major marketplace platforms.
- Negotiate visibility slots, brand features, and campaign placements.
- Proactively resolve operational and compliance issues to ensure seamless performance.
- Stay updated on new tools and features offered by platforms to gain competitive advantage.
Internal Teams:
- Collaborate with catalog, studio, operations, warehouse, finance, and marketing teams to ensure timely execution and efficient processes.
- Lead coordination for new launches, photoshoots, replenishment plans, and cross-team problem solving.
Brand Teams:
- Act as the strategic bridge between the marketplace and brands.
- Present data-backed insights, push for faster decisions, and align brand priorities with marketplace dynamics.
- Be a skilled communicator and negotiator – able to influence decisions, manage multiple priorities, and drive execution without escalations.
Job Requirements:
- 5–8 years of experience in Ecommerce Key Account Management, preferably in fashion/apparel.
- Strong understanding of how platforms like Myntra, AJIO, Flipkart, and Amazon work.
- Proven experience in handling revenue ownership, merchandising, and platform-specific campaign planning.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, and platform dashboards (Myntra Partner Portal, Amazon Seller Central, etc.).
- A go-getter mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for driving business outcomes.
