About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Jira Administrator / Jira Developer with strong expertise in Jira configuration, customization, scripting, and integrations. The role involves working across multiple systems in a hybrid environment while maintaining high standards of quality, testing, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Jira Administration & Configuration
- Manage Jira Software and Jira Service Management.
- Configure workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and schemes.
- Build and maintain Jira automations and advanced custom setups.
- Handle performance tuning, maintenance, and issue resolution.
Advanced Jira Development
- Develop complex Jira solutions using scripting tools and REST APIs.
- Implement custom workflows, automation rules, and advanced logic.
- Independently design and deliver scalable Jira configurations.
Cross-System Integrations
- Support and maintain integrations between Jira and other internal systems.
- Work across multiple tools/platforms in hybrid environments.
- Use Python for scripting, utilities, automation, and data processing.
Quality & Testing
- Perform thorough testing of workflows, scripts, and configurations.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to structured change processes.
- Ensure high reliability and minimize rework.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with client teams to understand requirements.
- Communicate timelines, impacts, and technical feasibility clearly.
- Provide user support and troubleshooting when needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Jira Administrator / Jira Developer.
- Strong expertise in Jira configuration, customization, and advanced development.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and system integrations.
- Experience working in complex, hybrid multi-system environments.
- Strong focus on quality, testing, and reliability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Good stakeholder interaction skills.
