JAVA Backend developer

Location- Bangalore, Chennai & Gurgaon

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with 6–10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and SQL databases, along with a solid understanding of software engineering best practices, system design, and cloud-native application development.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance backend services using Java and SpringBoot.

Build and maintain scalable Microservices-based applications.

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.

Design and optimize relational database schemas, queries, stored procedures, and transactions.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, and Frontend developers.

Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required.

Required Technical Skills

6–10 years of software development experience with Java.

Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17 and core Java concepts.

Extensive experience with Spring Framework, especially:

• Spring Boot
• Spring MVC
• Spring Data
• JPA
• Spring Security
• Strong experience in designing and implementing Microservices architecture.
• Expertise in REST API development and integration.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in databases such as:
• Oracle
• PostgreSQL
• MySQLSQL Server
• Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
