About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web-enabled applications using Java, J2EE, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographic locations to deliver high-quality software products and updates.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues involving application and database layers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience using Java, J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Strong knowledge and skills in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
- Proven experience developing SQL, SQL Functions, and Stored Procedures.
- Knowledge in PL/SQL or Transact-SQL.
- Quick to learn new products and technologies.
- Involvement in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating across distributed teams.
- Ability to work effectively with international teams across different time zones.
Preferred Skills:
- Education or experience in Accounting and Budgeting.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience with reporting tools (Crystal Reports, SSRS, Jasper, IBM Cognos).
- Experience with database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
