We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, MongoDB, and Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will design and build scalable backend services and cloudnative solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java/Spring Boot.
- Build scalable microservices and secure RESTful APIs.
- Work extensively on MongoDB for schema design, indexing, aggregation, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot issues across backend layers including performance bottlenecks and integration challenges.
Azure Cloud Engineering
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging Azure services, such as:
- Azure App Service
- Azure Functions
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure API Management
- Azure Storage / Azure SQL / Cosmos DB
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, YAML).
- Implement Azure-based monitoring, logging, and security best practices using Application Insights, Azure Monitor, etc.
Architecture & Design
- Participate in backend architecture, design patterns, and technical solutioning.
- Ensure designs meet scalability, performance, and strong security standards.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to deliver high-quality releases.
- Participate in code reviews, estimations, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
- Contribute to automation and cloud deployment activities.
Required Technical Skills
Core Backend Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
- Strong experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, ORM frameworks, and caching solutions (Redis etc.)
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven designs
Azure Cloud Skills
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services
- CI/CD automation with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos)
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
- Knowledge of Azure networking, identity, and security best practices
Database Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDBSchema modeling
- Indexing strategies
- Aggregation pipelines
- Query optimization
- Exposure to MySQL/PostgreSQL is a plus
