The general role description:

The goal is to migrate Java applications from Pivitol Cloud Foundry (PCF) to OpenShift 4 (OCP 4) Environment in Enterprise Payments. Migrate applications to new build pipeline for OCP4 deployment. Remediate any code vulnerabilities and quality issues uncovered by pipeline integrated code scanners (Aqua, SonarQube). Involves upgrading applications to latest versions to remediate security vulnerabilities. Where appropriate, rewriting functionality which relied on PCF Specific functionality not available in OCP. Test and validate functionality to ensure no change or degradation in functionality & stability. Collaborate with client Platform team & SRE's to onboard applications & integrate with enterprise alerting and monitoring tools.
