Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Noida (5days onsite role)

Position Summary & Scope:

The Times Group IT (TGIT) function plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's technological infrastructure and driving digital transformation initiatives. By maintaining IT systems, automating office processes, and implementing new technologies, TGIT enables operational efficiency, enhances productivity, and fosters innovation across the organization.

Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas)

Minimum 6 years experience of web application development using Java technologies.

Good experience with Payment Gateway Integration

Good experience of using MySQL, MariaDB and MongoDB databases.

Good Experience of using caching frameworks like Hazelcast and Memcache.

Good Experience of using Apache httpd and tomcat.

Experience in working with HTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery.

Have hands-on experience of files version management system like SVN/Git.

Fair knowledge of server-side scripting with NodeJS

Have hands-on experience of build tools like Maven and Gradle.

Sound knowledge of working with Linux in cloud environment.

Experience in application development using Python frameworks will be an added advantage.

Strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of software development processes and best practices

Qualification and Experience:

UG: B.Tech / B.E. - Any Specialization | PG: M.Tech - Any Specialization, MCA

Min 6 Years experience of web application development using Java technologies.

5+ years of experience in extensively using core java and design patterns.

3+ years experience in developing applications using spring MVC, spring boot, spring batch and hibernate.
