Senior Java Software Developer

Project Description

Our project focuses on developing cloud-based, state-of-the-art Compliance Archive solutions that securely archive and retain real-time communications data in accordance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Developed in-house using an Agile framework, the platform addresses business requirements from multiple stakeholders while embracing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. The team is transitioning from a traditional project-based approach to a product-centric model, delivering scalable and robust compliance archive solutions that will support the client's business for years to come.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle for Java applications, microservices, and reusable components.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality enterprise applications.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including:
• Design Patterns
• Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Design and deliver end-to-end technical solutions that integrate seamlessly with business processes.
• Participate in hands-on development, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Work within an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of software quality.

Mandatory Skills

• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience with:
• Core Java
• J2EE
• Angular
• Experience developing applications using Java 8, Java 11, and Java 17, including their latest language features.
• Strong hands-on coding skills.
• Experience with the Spring Framework.
• Experience developing Microservices.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise Java APIs, including:
• JPA
• JTA
• CDI
• Good understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as:

• Kubernetes

• Experience with build automation tools, including:
