Senior Java Microservices Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer / Solution Architect with strong experience in Java microservices and AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining Java/J2EE applications, specifically integrating with external service platforms for wireless carriers and business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE-based systems integrating client applications with external service platforms across multiple wireless carriers and business partners.
• Architect and implement Java microservices solutions leveraging Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Deploy applications to application servers, preferably WebLogic.
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP web services and XML-based integrations.
• Troubleshoot and support multithreaded enterprise Java applications.
• Implement messaging solutions using JMS, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Lead solution architecture efforts for Java microservices in AWS cloud environments.
• Automate deployments using Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and relational databases.
• Strong experience deploying applications on WebLogic or similar application servers.
• Expertise with JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ for asynchronous messaging.
• Hands-on experience and certification in AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience designing microservices architectures and cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services and XML data formats.
• Knowledge of multithreading and concurrency in Java enterprise applications.
• Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in telecom or wireless carrier integration projects.
• Experience with additional cloud services on AWS.
