Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend systems using
Java and
Spring Boot
- Build and maintain microservices architecture
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS / PCF
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) to deliver features end-to-end
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code (yes, people still say this)
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices

Work Experience
Required Skills
- 8-10 years of experience in backend development
- Strong experience in Java (8 or above)
- Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data
- Solid understanding of REST API design principles
- Experience with Microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
- Good understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with React/Angular for frontend development
Good to Have
- Hands-on with API automation testing (Rest Assured, Postman, Karate, etc.)
- Exposure to event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT)
