Role Description

• We are looking for a senior leader who can redefine how software is built using AI. In this role, you will lead the design of AI-driven software development practices where tools like GitHub Copilot and intelligent agents are deeply integrated into the SDLC.
• You will shape how teams build, test, and deliver software faster using automation and AI. This includes defining standards for prompt design, tool orchestration, and agent-based workflows. You will work closely with engineering teams to scale these practices across multiple platforms.
• Strong Java experience is expected, along with hands-on expertise using AI coding tools.
• You should have a clear understanding of LLMs, RAG, and how systems integrate through APIs and orchestration. This role requires someone who does not just adopt AI, but sets the direction for AI-led engineering across the organization.

Your key responsibilities

• Drive adoption of AI-driven development practices across teams
• Design Java-based scalable applications and integrations
• Define standards for prompt engineering, AI tools, and automation
• Enable agent-based workflows and API orchestration
• Improve SDLC with automation, CI/CD, and AI-assisted testing
• Mentor teams and scale best practices across platforms

Your skills and experience

• Strong Java, Spring Boot, microservices experience
• API design and distributed systems expertise
• Hands-on with AI tools (Copilot, code assistants)
• Understanding of LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering
• Experience in CI/CD, cloud (preferably GCP), and DevOps
• Strong focus on engineering standards and code quality
