Workfall is a new-age Premium Talent Tech Platform, looking for an experienced, self-driven, and technically strong Senior Java Developer to join our growing Development Team. This role requires hands-on coding expertise along with technical leadership capabilities to drive scalable backend architecture and mentor junior developers.

Eligibility:
- 58 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot is mandatory.
- Experience working with microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Prior experience leading a small team or owning modules/projects is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
- Lead the development of microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Own end-to-end backend modules from requirement analysis to deployment.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Optimize database schema, queries, and overall system performance (PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Drive technical discussions, design reviews, and architectural decisions.
- Conduct regular code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, product, and QA teams for seamless delivery.
- Contribute to documentation, system design artifacts, and technical roadmaps.
Requirements:
- Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+ preferred).
- Frameworks: Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Architecture: Solid understanding of Microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Databases: Strong experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB (query optimization & indexing).
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
- DevOps Exposure: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker is an advantage.
- Version Control: Strong experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical thinking and debugging skills.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to guide teams, review code, and take ownership of technical deliverables.
