Position: Senior Java Developer

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team in Chennai. This is a unique opportunity to modernize and secure legacy systems while working closely with a collaborative and dynamic development team.
Role Highlights
- Refactor and update JSP-based legacy applications following secure coding standards
- Upgrade outdated and vulnerable dependencies (e.g., Spring, commons-fileupload)
- Participate in Git-based workflows, peer code reviews, and collaborative development
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Java (including JSP, Servlets, and traditional frameworks)
- Proficient in Maven/Gradle, Eclipse, and Git
- Exposure to secure coding practices and remediation tools
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
