We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team at Watsoo.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java technologies and hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications using Spring Boot and Microservices.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Udyog Vihar Phase 5, Gurugram.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and enterprise solutions.
- Build and deploy scalable microservices using Spring Boot.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and test environment issues.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java (Java 8+) and J2EE technologies.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Core.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Java fundamentals.
- Proven experience working on greenfield (from scratch) projects.
- Hands-on with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience in writing unit tests using JUnit.
- Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Good understanding of database integration and version control tools (preferably Git).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in agile development environments.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
