Job Description:
We are actively seeking a Senior Java Developer with a strong background in Java and related technologies to design, develop, and maintain key software applications within our investment banking division. This role requires a candidate with deep expertise in J2EE (v17), Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, JPA, and Swagger/OAS3.x to support high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performance software solutions formission critical,highly available, and high data volumeenterpriseapplications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write andmaintainunit tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality.
- Conduct quality and security scans using tools like Sonar.
- Work with database technologies, primarily Oracle,PostgreSQL,and PL/SQL scripting.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Technical Expertise:
- 4+ years of hands-on coding experience with Java.
- Strong knowledge on Java 11 or plus is must.
- Strongproficiencyin J2EE, Spring Boot,Microservices,andEvent Driven Architecture,Kafka, APIframeworksetc.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs using a microservices architecture.
- Proficiencyin writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
- Working knowledge of quality and security scanning tools such as Sonar.
- Familiarity with version control systems,CI/CDpipelinesand releaseprocess.
- Solid understanding of Oracle databases and PL/SQL scripting.
Preferred Expertise:
- Hands-on experiencewithPython development.
- Hands-on experiencewithDataBricks,PySpark.
- Good understanding of real time datastreamingpipeline
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and a strong understanding of microservices architecture.
- Background in DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
