Job Title: Senior Java Developer

About The Role
- We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. You'll work on modern microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java-based backend services and microservices
- Build and maintain REST APIs
- Work on database design, queries, and performance optimization
- Implement event-driven and microservices communication (Kafka/REST)
- Contribute to system design, code reviews, and best practices
- Collaborate with teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Troubleshoot and improve application performance
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in Java (11/17+) & Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with Microservices & REST APIs
- Good understanding of OOP, SOLID principles
- Experience with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle) & JPA/Hibernate
- Knowledge of Kafka, Redis
- Experience with AWS (Lambda or other services)
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with JUnit/Mockito & Git
- Experience with Keycloak or similar identity/access management tools
- Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry)
- Experience with Hibernate / JPA, Maven / Gradle
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar
- Familiarity with cloud-based development environments (e.g., Cloud Code or similar tools)
Good-to-Have Skills
- Basic knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP (broader cloud services)
- Familiarity with Docker (basic usage)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions)
- Basic knowledge of RabbitMQ
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Java backend development
