Role Overview
As a Senior Java Developer, you will help build and scale the backend platforms that sit at the heart of our lending and investment products.
This role goes beyond codingyou will contribute to architectural decisions, performance optimization, and platform scalability while working closely with product, data science, and QA teams.
What You'll Build
- High-throughput backend services for lending and investment workflows
- Secure, scalable APIs integrated with AI/ML decision engines
- Platform components used across multiple geographies and customers
- Systems where reliability, performance, and correctness are non-negotiable
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
- Collaborate with product managers and architects to translate requirements into robust solutions
- Write clean, efficient, testable code following best practices
- Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering quality standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 68 years of hands-on Java development experience
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL
- Experience with multithreading, performance tuning, and scalable systems
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus
