Senior Java Developer

Nisum is looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing and building scalable backend systems, developing modular microservices, and optimizing database performance. Role & Responsibilities:

• System Design & Development: Architect and build scalable backend systems using Java (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Microservices: Develop modular microservices with technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Database Management: Design and optimize both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs, and integrate third-party services.
• Performance & Security: Optimize application performance and implement backend security best practices.
• Testing & CI/CD: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests (e.g., JUnit, Mockito); work with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work effectively across cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshooting: Efficiently debug and resolve production issues.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Quarkus.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with reactive programming (e.g., Spring WebFlux, RxJava).
• Knowledge of GraphQL and serverless architecture.
• Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Shell).

Education & Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
