We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of experience to lead backend development and optimization for our cloud-based product on Google Cloud. This role will involve enhancing performance, implementing new features, and collaborating with onsite teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and maintenance of Java backend components.
- Drive performance optimization and scalability improvements.
- Implement and standardize JSON libraries and modernize data structures.
- Migrate in-memory caches to databases and manage data transitions to Elastic Search.
- Deploy and manage services on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Collaborate with global teams and address system hotspots.
- Integrate AI coding assistants into your daily workflow to optimize code quality and speed.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Java backend development.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, JSON, multi-threading, and data structure optimization.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly in deploying services on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Familiarity with database migration and versioning tools, such as Liquibase.
- Strong understanding of in-memory cache management and experience with Elastic Search.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with experience working in global teams.
- Experience in AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code or similar LLM-integrated IDEs.
- Good to have experience in React.js, JavaScript, and HTML5.
