Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using Java & Spring Boot
  • Build and maintain Microservices-based architecture
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams for end-to-end delivery
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure best coding practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Contribute to technical documentation and architecture discussions

Required Skills

  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
  • Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture
  • Proficiency in REST API design and development
  • Experience with message brokers — Kafka / RabbitMQ
  • Working knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
  • Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Experience with Git and version control best practices

Good to Have

  • Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
  • Knowledge of Redis for caching
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Familiarity with API Gateway & Service Mesh (Istio/Kong)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
