About The Job
Job description
- 5+ years of experience building successful production software systems in a senior role
- Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility
- Ability to be productive and task-oriented in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
- Java, Java Swing, JavaFx J2SE, MySQL, HTML5, Maven, Hibernate, Git/Github, AWS, REST APIs
- Experience working within a Windows Desktop Application Environment
- Prior Hospitality/Restaurant Industry experience with Point of Sale development is an asset

About the Candidate (You!):
- Do you love architecture and building front end and back end platforms
- Do you enjoy building a world-class product that has been built with utmost love and that will be used by millions of users
- Would you like to be part of a globally scaling product built out of India
Must Haves
- You have been building mission critical desktop or web applications professionally for 5+ years
- You're proficient in building User Interface (UI/UX), RESTful APIs, Java Swing / JavaFx application and MySQL database structure and queries.
- Should have good level knowledge of front-end technologies like Java Swing/ JavaFx, HTML.
- Professional level expertise in OOP, databases(relational and document), and design pattern knowledge
- Familiar with modern engineering practices: Git, Code Reviews, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing, etc
- You write understandable, testable code with an eye toward maintainability and experience in TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support team, and fellow engineers is not a problem for you.
- You create code by understanding the long-term impact of it on the system and not just a patch to make things work.
Bonus
- Experience with mentoring and leading a team of developers
- Experiene in the Point of Sale application development
