Job Title: Senior Java Cloud Architect
Location: Remote (India)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
Start Date: February 2026
Compensation: 25 to 30 LPA per year (depending on experience and skills)

Job Description
- Participate in the KT session with stakeholders & partners.
- Own the technology aspect of the KT session.
- Lead the application design and development.
- Candidate should be hands on and able to individually contribute.
- Document the existing architecture & data schema to understand the underlying architectural principles that will help the team to define the data migration strategy.
- Understand and document the Non-Functional requirement considered while determining the DB (in GCP) and designing the schema.
- Work with other architects to define the Non-Functional requirement for the data migration from GCP to GAP Azure platform.
- Work with other architects to define the data migration strategy from GCP to Azure platform.
- Work with the team to lead the implementation of the data migration strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience in the Information Technology Industry using core Java, micro services, Spring Boot.
- Expert in system design using micro services framework.
- Good understanding of web application architecture.
- Experience with GCP and Azure.
- Good knowledge in working with SQL and NoSQL DB.
- Previous experience in data migration; experience migrating from GCP platform to Azure platform is desirable.
- Good experience in dockerizing applications and deploying into Kubernetes, preferably AKS.
- Knowledge of GitHub Actions & ArgoCD is desirable.
- Good understanding of Azure managed services such as Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, SQLDB, and Azure Databricks is desirable.
- Experience with technologies such as Spring Boot, relational DBs, NoSQL DBs, Kafka, and Spark.
- Understanding of Agile methodology and DevOps mindset.
- Embrace ambiguity and uncertainty; appreciation for lean product development and ability to pivot based on feedback.
- Candidates having prior experience in line.me will be preferred.
Lead cloud-scale architecture and own a high-impact GCP-to-Azure data migration while building resilient Java microservices.
