Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java/API Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java and modern web technologies. You will work on both backend and frontend components, with a focus on API development and integration.
What You Will Do (Roles & Responsibilities)
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Implement responsive user interfaces using React JS
- Work with AWS services (S3), particularly DynamoDB, to build scalable cloud-based solutions
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in full stack development
What You Need To Succeed (Must Have)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4–6 years of experience in full stack development
- Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
- 2+ years of working experience in React JS and modern frontend development practices
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly DynamoDB
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ideal Candidate Will Also Have (Good to Have / Preferred)
- Experience with database-related work, including data modeling and optimization
- Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools
- UX design experience and understanding of user-centered design principles
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal side projects demonstrating passion for technology
