Job Description

Job Title: Senior IT & Tally Specialist

Location: Lalbagh, Bengaluru

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled IT professional with strong expertise in Tally software as well as end-to-end IT infrastructure management. The candidate should have prior experience in the steel industry, as knowledge of industry-specific workflows and requirements will be given top priority. The ideal candidate should be able to handle Tally-related tasks such as backups, server connections, adjustment entries, badan calculation, purchase and sales invoice entries, e-way bill generation, and e-invoice creation, along with managing complete IT systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities

Tally (Core Responsibility):

  • Manage Tally software installation, maintenance, and updates.
  • Perform Tally backup and restore, and connect with servers.
  • Pass adjustment entries, handle badan calculations, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and manage purchase and sales invoice entries.
  • Generate e-way bills and create e-invoices as per compliance.
  • Ensure Tally data integrity and troubleshoot errors.

IT Systems & Infrastructure:

  • Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems (hardware/software).
  • Manage CCTV and printers including settings, installation, and maintenance.
  • Handle server configurations, setup, and maintenance.
  • Administer networking including cables, LAN, WAN, firewalls, and network security.
  • Manage and administer Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Configure and install Wi-Fi routers and maintain secure connectivity.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT systems and Tally software.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting workflows within Tally.
  • Hands-on experience in system, server, and network management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and provide timely solutions.
  • Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certification in networking, system administration, or Tally (preferred but not mandatory).

Salary: 6lpa to 9.6lpa

Note: Tally knowledge and expertise is mandatory for this role. The candidate should have prior experience in the steel industry, as knowledge of industry-specific workflows and requirements will be given top priority.
