About the role:
This role is responsible for keeping Roboyo's internal IT infrastructure running smoothly across the India region and supporting employees globally where required. The IT Support Specialist acts as the primary point of contact for hardware, software, and systems issues, while also contributing to infrastructure administration, cloud services management, and IT security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
End-Use Support
Serve as first and second-level support for Roboyo employees, resolving IT incidents efficiently and maintaining employee productivity
Troubleshoot Windows 11 workstations including OS errors, application failures, performance issues, and updates
Install, configure, and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripherals; resolve driver conflicts and network printing issues
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
Troubleshoot Android and iOS smart devices
Cloud & SaaS Management
Manage user identities and access via Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD): provisioning, deprovisioning, group management, and MFA enrolment
Support Virtual Machine operations in Azure: start/stop/resize, snapshot management, disk operations, and basic cost awareness
Administer Microsoft 365 workloads including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive
Support onboarding/offboarding of users across cloud platforms
Security & Compliance
Respond to security alerts, phishing reports, and suspicious activity in line with company incident response procedures
Ensure devices meet compliance baselines (patch levels, encryption, antivirus) before granting network access
Educate end-users on security best practices: password hygiene, MFA, phishing awareness, and safe data handling
Participate in periodic access reviews to validate user permissions align with role requirements
Support internal and external audits as part of Roboyo's ISO 27001 certification
Maintain process-oriented working practices in line with ISO 27001 standards
Documentation & Improvement
Create and maintain accurate technical documentation
Identify opportunities to optimise internal IT work processes and implement improvements
Contribute to internal IT projects and initiatives
Must-Have Requirements
3–5 years of hands-on IT support and/or systems administration experience
Solid experience with Windows Server and Windows 11 client administration
Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID: user/group lifecycle, Conditional Access, MFA, Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or Azure AD / Entra ID
Familiarity with Azure Virtual Machines: portal navigation, basic VM operations, understanding of Azure RBAC
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
Familiarity with networking fundamentals: LAN, firewall, switches
Strong understanding of information security principles: Zero Trust, least privilege, data classification
Business-level English fluency (written and spoken) — essential for global team collaboration
Analytical thinking, strong communication, and a structured working approach
Nice-to-Have skills
Microsoft certifications: AZ-104, MS-102, SC-300, or others
Scripting skills in PowerShell or similar (Python, C#)
Familiarity with patch/vulnerability management tools
Knowledge of ISO 27001 requirements or experience in an ISO-certified environment
Exposure to identity governance concepts: access reviews, Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
Experience managing Microsoft Intune or other MDM solutions
Prior experience in a global or multi-region company
