Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Network Security & Infrastructure Lead with 8 to 11 years of experience in managing enterprise network and security environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in
Fortinet/FortiGate Firewall Administration and
Zscaler Web Proxy/Secure Web Gateway Management, along with proven experience in leading network operations teams and managing critical enterprise infrastructure.
The role requires a combination of technical leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder management to ensure a secure, highly available, and scalable network environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage enterprise network and security operations across multiple locations.
- Act as the technical owner for Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls, ensuring secure configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management.
- Manage and administer Zscaler Secure Web Gateway/Web Proxy solutions to enforce security policies and provide secure internet access.
- Oversee network infrastructure including Cisco routers, switches, VPNs, SD-WAN, LAN, and WAN environments.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical network and security incidents (P1/P2) and lead incident resolution activities.
- Drive proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization of network and security infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Information Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams to enhance overall security posture.
- Lead root cause analysis, problem management, and implementation of preventive measures.
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and OEMs to ensure SLA compliance and operational excellence.
- Support business continuity initiatives, including Disaster Recovery (DR) and Data Center operations.
- Develop and enforce operational processes, standards, documentation, and governance frameworks.
- Mentor and guide network engineers and security analysts while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and automation.
- Support audit and compliance requirements and ensure adherence to organizational security policies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 to 11 years of experience in Enterprise Network and Security Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate Firewall Administration.
- Strong expertise in Zscaler Web Proxy/Secure Web Gateway Management.
- Experience managing enterprise-grade network infrastructure including Cisco routers and switches.
- Hands-on experience with VPN technologies, SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, and network troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of network security technologies including IDS/IPS, NAC, and WAF.
- Experience in NOC operations, incident management, and SLA-driven environments.
- Knowledge of Cloud Networking concepts and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNP Certification.
- Fortinet NSE or relevant Fortinet certifications.
- Zscaler Certified Administrator (ZCCA/ZIA) or equivalent.
- Experience with Akamai WAF or similar Web Application Firewall solutions.
- Exposure to enterprise security governance, audits, and compliance frameworks.
