Job Purpose
An IT Infra Lead ensures IT infrastructure performance through supervising the building of net configurations and connections. They are responsible for securing network systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
Evaluate and recommend necessary changes in performance tuning, IT infrastructure design and monitoring
- Responsible to install, configure and maintain applications with IT infrastructure
- Play a primary role in developing strategic plans of IT infrastructure plus operational aspects of application execution within infrastructure
- Support install applications for system production and test to ensure maximum Support through applying best practices
- Develop IT infrastructure related scripts to automate manual tasks and streamline operational activities
- Assess feedback to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management and highlight issues which need to be addressed
- Provide general framework plus environment to assist application developers and maintain activities
- Provide guidance and trainings to Project team members in the field regarding IT infrastructure
- Capture and share best- practice knowledge amongst the team
- Create an environment that promotes collaborative learning and collective ownership of responsibilities
- Ensures that IT infrastructure requests are handled according to agreed procedures
- Conduct complex technical evaluation, design review and recommend proposed physical and logical designs
- Liaise with external vendors to resolve IT infrastructure issues efficiently
- Coordinate the review, presentation and release of IT infrastructure design layout and other documentation
- Coordinate meetings with the senior management to discuss Project impediments, needed resources or issues/delays in completing the task
