Senior IT Infra Engineer Database - MSSQL

Role & responsibilities

This individual contributor is responsible for the design, configuration, build, implementation, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. In additional, they are responsible for ensuring adherence to IT policies and standards including security practices. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This position serves as the face of the team to business customers and stakeholders across the organization. This position requires the individual to be able to handle large databases with high degree of complexity and non-uniformity at an enterprise corporate level.

Preferred candidate profile

4 Years of experience with MS SQL Server database (SQL Server versions 2012 through current), SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions such as Always On, Distributed Availability Group, Clustering, Log shipping and Replication, etc.

• 2 Years of experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Experience with Database utilities such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS) & SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
• Experience in supporting complex Development/projects
• Experience in storage engineering and/or data backup engineering, including experience with data replication.
• Database Migration
• L2/L3 Support
