Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior IT Executive role based in Jaipur. The Senior IT Executive will oversee day-to-day IT operations, including monitoring systems, servers, and networks that support production, design, and business functions. The role involves providing hands-on technical support to users, resolving hardware and software issues, and managing incident escalation. The Senior IT Executive will administer and secure local and wide area networks, coordinate with vendors and service providers, and ensure data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity practices are followed. The position will also participate in IT planning, implement upgrades and new solutions, document processes, and collaborate with management to align IT infrastructure with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Information Technology and IT Operations, with experience managing enterprise systems and infrastructure in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Hands-on expertise in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for hardware, software, and user issues across desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Practical experience in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Proficiency in managing operating systems, basic database administration, and common business applications; familiarity with data backup and recovery tools.
- Understanding of IT security principles, access control, antivirus and patch management, and best practices for safeguarding company data.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple incidents and projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, production units, and external vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, ITIL) are an advantage.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead IT role within a manufacturing, textiles, or export-oriented organization is highly desirable.
