Senior IOS Developer

Pradeepit Consulting Services is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Developer to join our client's dynamic team. This pivotal role involves end-to-end iOS app development, from concept to deployment, focusing on crafting robust, scalable, and high-performing applications. You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, contribute to the full software development lifecycle, and maintain a high standard of code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• App Development Lifecycle: Drive end-to-end iOS app development, from initial concept to final deployment.
• Feature Implementation: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, high-performing iOS applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, backend developers) to define and implement new features.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, adhering to best coding practices and industry standards. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Performance & Optimization: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve bugs to optimize app performance and enhance user experience.
• Integration: Work with RESTful APIs and integrate backend services. Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and tools to enhance application functionality.
• Industry Trends & Tools: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and iOS and Mac development advancements. Utilize Xcode, iOS SDK, and version control tools such as Git. Familiarity with CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager is key.
• Architectural & Design Principles: Apply a strong understanding of MVVM or other design patterns for iOS development. Understand UI/UX design principles and work closely with design teams.
• Deployment & Compliance: Possess knowledge of App Store guidelines and experience publishing apps on the App Store.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira.

Skills & Knowledge

• Proficiency in Xcode and the iOS SDK.
• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Location.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and backend service integration.
• Solid understanding of MVVM or other design patterns.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with third-party libraries and tools like CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager.
• Knowledge of App Store guidelines.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in iOS app development using Swift, Storyboards, and Objective-C.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve bugs.
• Commitment to staying updated with emerging trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT.
• Published mobile applications on Google Play Store or Apple App Store (preferred).
• Experience with cloud services such as Firebase or Azure for mobile apps (preferred).
