Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer with strong native iOS expertise and a willingness to do full-stack development. We expect system architecture, cross-platform app development, backend integrations, cloud connectivity, and scalable product development.

You will work closely with product, design, cloud, firmware, and backend teams to build seamless connected experiences across mobile, cloud, and smart devices.

You'll be improving & responsible for:

• Designing, developing high-quality native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit. You will also need to guide other full-stack developers on iOS app development.
• Designing and developing high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin… Yes you read that right… You will own both Android and iOS development for each feature on the app.
• Building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile experiences.
• Collaborating across teams to architect App Cloud Device interactions.
• Working on backend integrations, APIs, cloud communication, and connected device experiences as needed for the app experience..
• Developing and maintaining reusable UI components aligned with Apple design guidelines.
• Supporting full-stack initiatives including API understanding, backend workflows, and cloud infrastructure interactions.
• Working on local and remote video streaming features.
• Ensuring app reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participating in architecture discussions, technical reviews, and product planning.
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to engineering best practices.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Strong systems and product thinking mindset beyond app development.
• 6–10 years of experience in native iOS development.
• Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, Core Data, Instruments, and related native frameworks/tools.
• Understanding of backend systems, REST APIs, cloud integrations, and full-stack architecture concepts.
• Experience with software design and architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and SOLID principles.
• Experience integrating applications with networking APIs and cloud services.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills..

The nice to haves:

• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integrations on iOS.
• Working knowledge of MQTT protocol for real-time device-to-cloud communication.
• Experience implementing real-time communication using WebRTC.
• Exposure to backend technologies/frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Spring Boot, or similar.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent.
• Experience integrating web content within iOS applications using WebViews or hybrid approaches.
• Exposure to build automation and release management.

Academic qualifications

Bachelor/Masters Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
