About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior iOS Developer with 7+ years of professional experience and deep, hands-on expertise in native iOS application development. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of designing, developing, testing, and deploying production-grade iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C.
The candidate should be comfortable working across the complete mobile application lifecycle and collaborating with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-quality iOS applications.
- Develop clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code using Swift and/or Objective-C.
- Work extensively with iOS SDKs, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Apple's development ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, libraries, and external services.
- Optimize application performance, stability, responsiveness, memory usage, and overall user experience.
- Ensure applications comply with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and App Store requirements.
- Manage and contribute to App Store submission, release, and deployment processes.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for coding, testing, documentation, and engineering practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Contribute to technical architecture, design decisions, and continuous improvement of development processes.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective, scalable solutions.
- Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Contribute to cross-platform mobile development initiatives where required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with significant hands-on experience in iOS development.
- Strong and demonstrable expertise in native iOS application development.
- Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C.
- Strong knowledge of iOS SDK, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Apple's development frameworks.
- Good understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and iOS design principles.
- Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Strong knowledge of mobile application performance optimization and debugging.
- Experience with App Store submission, provisioning, certificates, and release processes.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with React Native or other cross-platform mobile frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Combine, Core Data, or other Apple frameworks.
- Familiarity with Android application development.
- Exposure to additional cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter.
- Experience working in an enterprise or client-delivery environment.
- Experience with mobile application architecture and design patterns.
- Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership.
