2. Develop FreeRTOS-based firmware using FSM architecture for robust and maintainable systems using C/C++.
3. Integrate LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, BLE as well as other sensors based on communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN)
4. Implement OTA updates and system reliability mechanisms.
5. Coordinate with PCB manufacturers and vendors for fabrication, assembly, and component sourcing.
6. Implement device-to-cloud communication using MQTT and JSON-based data formats.
7. Perform field debugging, root-cause analysis and production issue resolution.
8. Collaborate with backend/IoT teams on protocols, APIs and data handling.
9. Maintain comprehensive hardware and firmware documentation.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
1. Hands-on experience with PCB schematic design and layout (upto 4 layers) on KiCad/Orcad, including projects developed for IoT systems.
2. Hands-on design of LDOs, buck/boost regulators and protection circuits.
3. Strong understanding of ESP32 integration and related peripheral interfacing.
4. Hands-on experience integrating LTE (EC200), GPS or similar modules.
5. Experience with USB Type-C implementation and SD card hardware integration.
6. Understanding of antenna placement, impedance matching and basic RF/EMI principles.
7. Practical experience with DSO, CAN tool, logic analyzer and multimeter for debugging.
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
