Job Description

Nirvana Mangoes is a premium Indian fruit brand exporting Fresh and Value-Added mango products to global markets. With a strong focus on quality, compliance, and cold-chain excellence, the company works across Fresh Mangoes, Frozen (IQF), Purees, and Freeze-Dried formats.

As part of our international expansion, we are seeking a Senior International Sales Manager to lead high-volume B2B sales across UK, EU, UAE, and Southeast Asia. This is a leadership role designed for an industry veteran with an established buyer network and a proven export track record.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Activate existing relationships with Category Managers, Importers, and Large Buyers across the Gulf, UK (Tesco, ASDA, ethnic wholesalers), and EU (Edeka, Rewe, specialist importers).
  • Secure high-volume supply contracts and Letters of Intent (LOIs) ahead of the 2026 mango season.
  • Drive seasonal sales of Fresh Mangoes (commercial and ethnic varieties) during peak harvest periods.
  • Build year-round revenue by selling value-added products, including:
  • Frozen (IQF) & Purees to ice cream manufacturers, bakeries, and beverage brands.
  • Freeze-Dried Mangoes to healthy snack brands, breakfast cereal manufacturers, and retail chains.
  • Work closely with supply chain and compliance teams to ensure adherence to MRL, phytosanitary, and destination-country regulations.
  • Oversee international trade execution, including Incoterms, LC negotiations, customs clearance, and shipment coordination, ensuring fully cleared consignments.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, including pricing, volumes, and quality claim resolutions with international buyers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in international fruit exports, preferably mangoes or similar perishables.
  • A ready-to-activate network of buyers in the UK, EU, GCC, or SE Asia that can be approached from Day 1.
  • Strong technical understanding of cold chain management for fresh mangoes.
  • In-depth knowledge of IQF, Puree, and Freeze-Dried specifications, including Brix levels, moisture content, and shelf-life parameters.
  • Demonstrated ability to close multi-container and multi-market deals.
  • Proven experience handling quality disputes and commercial claims in international trade environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across international markets.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduation preferred (any discipline).
  • Additional certifications or exposure in International Trade, Supply Chain, or Food Exports will be an advantage.

COMPENSATION & PERFORMANCE INCENTIVES

  • Industry-leading fixed salary, benchmarked to seniority standards in India or the UAE.
  • Network Bonus: One-time signing or milestone bonus upon successful sale of the first container to a new buyer from the candidate's network.
  • Tonnage-Based Commission: Uncapped commission per ton of fresh fruit sold.
  • Value-Added Override: Higher commission percentage on Frozen and Freeze-Dried product lines to incentivize year-round revenue.
  • Performance-linked incentives aligned to volume growth, market expansion, and strategic account wins.
