Senior Interior Designer

Role Description The Senior Interior Designer role at Zinoti is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru North. This role involves leading end-to-end interior design projects, from concept development and space planning to material selection and final detailing. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, prepare design presentations, drawings, and 3D visuals, and coordinate with the in-house execution team to ensure accurate implementation on site. Daily responsibilities include supervising site work, resolving design and technical issues, aligning designs with budgets and timelines, and maintaining consistent quality standards across projects. The role also includes mentoring junior designers and contributing to internal design processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in interior design concept development, space planning, and material and finish selection.
• Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary site teams (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, civil and marble specialists) and supervising on-site execution.
• Solid project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, and documentation.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and manage expectations.
• Proven track record in residential interior projects; experience with luxury or bespoke design is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead designer capacity.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with design and execution teams.
