Senior Interior Designer

Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design projects, including client consultations, concept development, and detailed space planning for residential and commercial environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design presentations, coordinating with architects and contractors, reviewing construction drawings, selecting materials and finishes, and overseeing FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications and installation. The role involves mentoring junior designers, ensuring design quality and consistency, managing project timelines, and maintaining clear communication with clients and vendors throughout each phase. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with experience creating functional, aesthetically cohesive layouts.
• Proficiency in Architecture-related coordination and Construction Drawings, including reading, reviewing, and guiding technical documentation.
• Experience with FF&E, including selection, specification, and coordination of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Advanced skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in interior design, preferably in a senior or lead role managing projects from concept to completion.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong project management, time management, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and budget adherence.
• Effective communication and collaborative skills for working with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in Ahmedabad and surrounding regions.
